Shower: CHECK!

The last post regarding the bathroom remodel showed that we had finished with the shower pan and had the cement board up and had 12 tiles on the wall.

We had to wait another week or so before we could do the rest. Everything else had to be cut with a tile cutter so they could be fit.

Here Shane has the back wall finished and is working on cutting the pieces for the cubby.

Here Shane is standing back to make sure everything is straight.

He had the front wall of the shower done now, and is getting ready to do the bottom row next to the floor.

Putting up the last few tiles for the top row.
End wall almost finished.

Shane putting the morter on the back of a tile preparing for placement.

Tiles layed for the cubby.
Here is Shane doing the floor of the shower.

After a couple days to make sure the morter was nice and dry were were able to start grouting. That is a long hard process.

Here is Shane grouting the wall of the shower.

After the grout was done we had to wait 3 days for it to be completely dry before we could seal the grout. We then had to wait another day or two after sealing the grout before we could actually use the shower.
